What happened in 2011?

Wow - what a year!

Crows in the Kirk: Saturday November 12th, 7.30pm, Glenorchy Church, Dalmally,- helping celebrate Glenorchy Church BiCentenary. We performed many of the new pieces commissioned during the year to a small but enthusiastic and appreciative audience.

Crows at the Library: Friday, October 28th, Oban Library. Part of National Storytelling Week. Another wet Argyll evening, but a full house really brought the library to life. The team were in great form and the audience was very supportive. As was our host, Kevin, who was talking about doing it all again at other libraries in Argyll.

Stars of TV, Holyrood, and the charcoal shed at Bonawe!

The team featured in a short cameo of the Bonawe Iron Furnace on BBC's Countryfile programme, preceded by....

.......a weekend of performances at Bonawe Iron Furnace. Dreadful weather, so we retreated to the gloom and charcoal dust of the main charcoal shed. Great atmosphere, though, and good audiences, despite the weather. Thanks to everyone who came along.

Before that, Full Circle - Evolution to Devolution, performed in the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood on 27th of August 2011 - Facebook links below for photos.

A real priviledge to bring our stories of Argyll and Scotland to the home of our Parliament.

Earlier in a very busy year of 2011, we completed our run of 4 shows at Corran Halls for the Oban BiCentenary. Called Clear Light Over the Water, this was a collaboration with poet Norman Bissell, and historian, Catherine Gillies.

Audience member Olivia Maxwell said: The three woman are an absolute credit to the town for keeping history alive and well, but most of all for allowing people to celebrate the town's history through a very magical theatre production.

Here is what Linda Henderson said about us last year in her website, For Argyll:
